2016 Display Home of the Year - HIA CSR ACT and Southern NSW Housing Awards
Kolak Living claimed the coveted 2016 Display Home of the Year Award for HIA-CSR ACT and Southern NSW Housing. Monique was engaged for fitout and furnishing of the display home. The brief was for a luxurious 5 star finish. An elegant colour scheme was specified throughout and played up with a mix of gloss and matte feature tiles, textured wallpaper, custom joinery, lighting selections and tailored window treatments. Monique was engaged to devise the colour scheme, window treatments, furnishings, decor and tailored soft furnishings for this Hamptonesque beauty. Inspired by the sprawling seaside escape featured in Jack Nicholson and Diane Keaton's movie 'Something's Gotta Give', the brief was for a soft, elegant yet relaxed feel - reminiscent of the homes dotted around Long Island New York. -
